Device Enrollment
How It Works
Apple requires that each device UDID be registered in your developer account before the device can install ad-hoc apps. InHouse Vision automates this process.
Sharing Your Enrollment Link
- Go to Settings in the dashboard
- Copy your enrollment URL
- Share it with your team members
- They open the link on their Apple Vision Pro
- The device UDID is automatically registered in your account
Password Protection
You can set a password on your enrollment link to prevent unauthorized device registration. Set or remove the password in Settings.
Device Limits
Apple limits ad-hoc distribution to 100 devices per developer account per year. This limit resets annually and is enforced by Apple, not InHouse Vision.
Managing Devices
View all enrolled devices in Dashboard > Devices. You can:
- Rename devices for easier identification
- Remove devices from your list
Note: Removing a device from InHouse Vision does not remove it from your Apple Developer account.
Automatic Profile Generation
If you've connected your App Store Connect API key, InHouse Vision can automatically register new devices in your developer account and generate updated provisioning profiles.
